Yasmim Colares Patriota de Souza

Yasmim Colares is originally from Brazil, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. She later pursued research experience at the University of Florida and is currently working through the process of validating her veterinary diploma in the United States.

With a lifelong passion for animal health, Yasmim has been dedicated to veterinary medicine from an early age and brings compassion, curiosity, and attention to detail to every patient she cares for. She enjoys building strong relationships with both pets and their families and is proud to serve the Tucker community as part of the Heart & Soul Veterinary Care team.

Outside of the clinic, Yasmim enjoys reading, traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring new cultures. She shares her home with her family and her three fur babies—Gigi, Angel, and Zack—who fill her life with love and fun
